Hi, I’m gonna start my saying that my name is Robert. A little background on me, born in the late 90’s, my earliest memory is watching my father play Resident evil on the ps1 in our living room. My mother was deeply opposed to me watching this (I know this through discussions about my early childhood and what I used to watch) I became enthralled with the idea of games, the idea of being in a world not like our own and experiencing it as it unfolded a story while playing. As I grew up games became as second nature to me as brushing my teeth. I could pick up a controller, play a new game I had no experience with and play like I had completed it several times. Of course some would argue this is a lack luster childhood I did however do the normal things a child did, I went on holidays, I went to the beech, but nothing grabbed my attention more than a good engaging story/game. Starting however I am a normal person, I have a decent full time job, a fiancee and currently have plans to move away from my parents house. My line of work is mainly IT related and I enjoy studying new technologies in order to take certifications for advancing my career. To really wrap this up simply, the blog is to discuss my learning and my career moves, to discuss thoughts on current games and technologies, while giving a analytical view on each topic I discuss. I don’t expect this to blow up, I merely want to, what you would call “add my two cents” into the matters I discuss.
